Group Formation

RASDO utilized an efficient and trained network of individuals to execute its
programs. In principle, RASDO wants to execute its program in a methodical, step by step manner.
Though the institution is intended for the socio-economic empowerment of the rural poor and
helpless, its primary focus is the disadvantaged persons, especially women. Initially, a group
consists of up to 30 members. According to the mission statement, a sub-group may also be
formed at the consensus of the group or discretion of the group leader. During the time of group
formation, economic, social, age and ethics of the target people are generally considered as
influencing factors for determining membership.
