RASDO has been implementing Malaria Control
Programme from July 2007 with the financial support of the Global Fund/BRAC. The project activity
is implementing in 3 districts namely Sherpur, Mymensingh and Chittagong. The project period will
be covered 11 years in the areas. The project aim is to provide malaria parasite diagnosis and
treatment service to the beneficiaries of the four Upazila namely Sribordi, Jhenaigati, Dobaura and
Boalkhali. Moreover, Long Lasting Insecticide Treated Mosquito Net is being distributed to the altra
poor and poor households of the project Upazila. The project goal is to provide malaria treatment
service covering 80% beneficiaries of the area and to reduce mortality by 80% considering the
project period.
